Enjoy a private, comfortable, and centrally located home in Jacksonville, Alabama. It's a peaceful neighborhood within a few blocks of the Jacksonville State University campus. We are about three blocks away from the historic Jacksonville square. Parking is generally easy to find and getting around in town is usually not an issue. Maybe you'll be lucky to see the deer! 

Just turn off the square onto Ladiga St. Hit the four-way stop at Church and Ladiga. Continue on Ladiga, go about two blocks.....You're there! Your home is on the left. You'll be staying in the right hand side of our duplex. Just look for the Yellow door with the WELCOME. How easy is that?   You will enjoy the right-hand side of this duplex. The maximum occupancy is four.

King bed in front BR, 2 twin XLTS which can make a full King. 65-inch smart TV, use your streaming sign-ins. Leather couch with recliners. White noise machines, darkening shades in BRs, tabletop fan in each BR. W/D and UPDATED. Well-equipped kitchen, back deck with dining table/chairs and umbrella, and park-style grill.  Electronic coded door lock. We have a nice two-seater glider with a cigarette bucket located in a pleasant shady area for smokers. Now that it is fall you'll find many plush and snuggly blankets. Enjoy the leather recliner while you watch the smart tv. Are you a sleeper who loves their fan or a white noise machine? We've got you covered. USB ports by the beds, too.

Your kitchen has a nice coffee/tea maker, either in pods or a carafe. Off street parking for 4 cars with EV CHARGER. Everything is new, pretty, and comfortable! Posted pictures may not be a precise representation, we are adding more upgrades.  About 970 sq. feet of nice living space.

The home is in ALABAMA, so we have bugs, lizards, deer, spiders, possums, and sometimes coyotes that you may see. The weather can be perfect or hot and humid. The home is within a few feet of the city water tower so our water pressure may be high or at the state minimum. No pets, no smoking or vaping inside the home. There are steps both front and back. The owner has a private locked closet in the hallway. The owner lives nearby if there is an emergency. You will be living in the RIGHT side of the duplex. Please note there is a wonderful long-term resident on the other side of the duplex.

For visiting bicyclists, we can arrange for a locking garage for your bicycles. Only upon previous arrangement. NOT a standard amenity

EV charger is 220/50 Amp. Bring your own cords.

The maximum occupancy is four.

NO PETS or bicycles in the home, please.

Please NO interfering with any electronics, wifi, door locks, or security cameras.

Bring your own sign-ins for streaming video on the smart tv.

We hold a security deposit, refundable if no damage is present.

It is an easy bike to the famous Chief Ladiga trail. In fact, since the home is at the top of a hill the bike ride is all downhill!  We have a building nearby where your bikes can be stored and locked up. You'll need to let us know BEFORE you arrive so it's ready for your bicycles.

All we ask at checkout is please take out your trash if you think of it and lock the door. Very easy stuff, right?

Do you drive an EV? Use your own stage 2 EV charger, 240/50Amp., right in your driveway, Bring your own cords. Both the front and back of the home have stairs.

We have a locked owner's closet in the hallway. Both the front and back of the home have stairs.
